A week on from this incredible weekend at The Belfry and still the good feedback and response is being felt. We were approached by Northern Ball Markers to help them design and develop a new identity for their annual golf event Swing in the North. We were approached to create concept and poster for the 1st Open to take place at Covesea, the 9 hole course which sits nestled in a cove right on the coast between Lossiemouth and Hopeman. An amazing place this first Open event takes place on Sunday 24th September and is brilliantly raising money for SAMH. Huge thanks to Micahel McAllan for asking me to get involved. We were lucky enough to have some bespoke AND golf ball markers created by our friends at Northern Ball Markers. These little brass markers are beautifully hammer finished and laser engraved with our AND icon and word mark on the reverse. We’re working on a new print shop where you will be able to purchase archival quality art prints of some of the most unique and rare vintage golf bag tags from the collection housed at Simpsons Golf Shop, Carnoustie. These will be a rare opportunity to buy somethign with genuine golfing history and legacy and all proceeds will be going to make our coffee table book project a reality. We are excited to be working on a concept coffee table book, featuring the unique world record* collection of golf bag tags exchanged over 40 years of visitors at the iconic Simpsons Golf Shop, Carnoustie. It offers an incredible insight to International golf visitors to Scotland over the period and the collection has some amazingly rare and iconic tags within it. We recently created some ball markers for Scottish Golf Tour operator Morton Golf who were heading to the PGA show in America. Rather than hand out business cards we created some marker designs for Managing Director, Dave Kerr. Beautifully lasered by Northern Ball Markers.
